About
Now this is really interesting. You can have notecards notarized within Second Life. Create a notecard with the details that everyone is agreeing to and mark it so that anyone can copy it. Drop the notecard in the desk. Everyone then clicks the desk to get a copy of the document and a prompt to sign it. After everyone signs, you say "done" and it calculates the fee. (100 L$ for first 2 people + 50 L$ each additional). Once it is paid for, a receipt is created that everyone can take a copy of. It contains the original document that everyone agreed to. Clicking your copy of the receipt, you get a few commands that let you find out things like who signed it, or verify its integrity. From Dedric Mauriac via blogHUD
